Terms of Use
These terms apply to use of the Brighter Sites marketing website and public demonstration websites. Client projects and paid services are governed by separate project agreements.
1. General website use
Brighter Sites provides this website to explain its website design, development, launch, and optional ongoing-management services. You may browse and use the site for lawful informational and business purposes. By using the site, you agree not to interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, misuse security features, or use the site in a way that violates applicable law or another person’s rights.
2. No client relationship from browsing
Visiting this website, viewing a demo, or sending an initial inquiry does not by itself create a client relationship or obligate Brighter Sites to accept a project. A website project or paid service begins only under the applicable proposal, statement of work, service agreement, accepted change order, or other project document.
3. Separate client agreements control paid services
These public Website Terms of Use do not replace the Website Services Agreement, Website Ownership and Service Exit Terms, Proposal/SOW, service-plan terms, or other project-specific documents accepted by a Brighter Sites client. If a client agreement addresses a paid service, project, ownership right, handoff obligation, fee, warranty, or remedy, the applicable client agreement controls that matter.
4. Demonstration websites
Brighter Sites may publish demonstration websites to show different design directions, page structures, content depth, and user experiences. Unless a demo clearly identifies a real customer, names, practices, clinicians, locations, testimonials, scheduling details, and other demo content should be understood as demonstration material rather than a representation that the featured provider or practice exists or offers services.
Demo websites are examples of design and development capability, not a promise that every client project will use the same structure, features, page count, imagery, copy, performance, search visibility, or business results.
5. Informational content and no professional advice
Content on the Brighter Sites website is general business and website information. It is not legal, tax, accounting, medical, mental-health, regulatory, accessibility-certification, or other professional advice. Brighter Sites does not determine whether a visitor or client satisfies every law, professional rule, privacy requirement, accessibility requirement, advertising rule, or industry-specific obligation.
6. No guaranteed search or business results
Brighter Sites may describe practices intended to support usability, performance, search visibility, measurement, and conversion. Search engines, directories, browsers, networks, third-party services, market conditions, and visitor behavior are outside Brighter Sites’ control. The website does not promise a particular search ranking, indexing time, traffic level, lead volume, conversion rate, appointment volume, revenue, or other business outcome.
7. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise indicated, the Brighter Sites name, branding, website design, public website copy, graphics, code, and other original material on this site are owned by or licensed to Brighter Sites and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view and reasonably share links to public pages, but you may not copy or republish a substantial portion of the site, remove ownership notices, impersonate Brighter Sites, or commercially redistribute Brighter Sites material without permission or another lawful basis.
Customer names, logos, trademarks, licensed media, open-source software, and third-party materials remain subject to their respective owners’ rights and licenses.
8. External links and third-party services
This website may link to the Brighter Sites client portal, demonstration websites, scheduling or communication tools, and unrelated third-party services. Brighter Sites does not control unrelated third-party sites and is not responsible for their content, availability, security, pricing, terms, or privacy practices. A link does not necessarily mean Brighter Sites endorses every statement or service on the destination.
9. Contact and sensitive information
The public contact path is intended for ordinary business inquiries. Do not send passwords, recovery codes, payment-card information, Social Security numbers, protected health information (PHI), medical details, or other highly sensitive or regulated information through ordinary email or other Brighter Sites systems unless Brighter Sites has expressly accepted that information under a compliant project scope.
10. Availability and accuracy
Brighter Sites uses reasonable care in maintaining the website but does not guarantee that every page will always be available, current, complete, compatible with every device, or free from errors. Pricing, offers, service descriptions, examples, third-party costs, and other information may change. A project-specific written agreement controls over general marketing content when the two differ.
11. Privacy
Information handled through the website, client portal, and related workflows is addressed in the Brighter Sites Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to these terms
Brighter Sites may update these Terms of Use as the website, services, or legal requirements change. The current version and effective or revision date will be posted on this page. Changes to these public terms do not silently amend an already accepted client project agreement.
